KikaEats is making a British Banoffee Pie. It’s seriously decadent in its simplicity. A classic when I lived in the UK. More Americans need to experience it! Can’t wait.

I’m excited to join!! I’ll be making a classic Banoffee Pie (sweet—so very, very sweet) and another savory pie to act as my non-baking husband’s contribution. Don’t know the exact details of the savory pie yet, but I’ve got plans to make the crust out of plantains… And it will be Latin and spicy, ‘cause that’s how I roll. wink

I might have finally figured out mine, too.  Something with apples, bourbon, bacon, and pecans (not necessarily in that order).  Maybe I’ll come up with a savory one, too.  Do you think I can re-configure the Duck Pancakes from the Chinese New Year’s Potluck into pie form?
