Kosher Food Blogger Conference 2014

9:00 am – 12:00 pm

I’m the keynote speaker. The mission of the third annual Kosher Food Blogger Conference is to educate kosher-food bloggers and vendors on how to enhance the value of their blogs and overall brands through best practices, sponsorships, technology and partnerships. The Kosher Food Blogger Conference brings together well-recognized food bloggers and professionals and makes them accessible to conference participants. Speakers are chosen for the experience and innovative thinking that they bring to the kosher-food-blogging community. The Conference programming is built around the topics that are crucial for building an education on social media, photography, writing, branding, marketing and technology in our current environment.

Roger Smith Food Tech Conference 2014

1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

I’m organizing a 4-hour workshop, “How to Use Crowdfunding to Start, Grow or Market Your Food Business,” part of the Roger Smith Food Tech Conference. Crowdfunding is not easy, but it works, especially for food-related projects. In this workshop, you will get a deep understanding of how to run a successful campaign, get an overview of what not to do, understand the mindset needed, get the chance to discuss your campaign ideas and get your questions answered.

The Diva That Techmunched

9:00 am – 5:00 pm

I will be speaking on a panel at TECHmunch on building and marketing your brand. As the online world descends on New York City June 6th-13th for Internet Week, food bloggers in the Big Apple will be focused on an event all their own in the form of TECHmunch NYC, which will be held Saturday, June 11th at Astor Center. New York City is the latest stop for TECHmunch, which was created to help food bloggers learn practical tools and tactics for generating buzz, building an audience and making their hard work profitable. Tickets for the day-long conference and networking reception are $125 (early bird discount) or $200 (general admission) and can be purchased at http://tmnyc2011.eventbrite.com.
