- 8 ounces butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons of maple sugar crystals
- In a small bowl, mix butter, maple syrup and 3/4 of the maple sugar, if using.
Yield: 1 cup
This recipe works even if you don’t have maple sugar crystals, but try to get them because they add little surprise pools of maple goodness to the butter.
