SYNOPSIS: In Say Cheese: a tongue-titillating tasting of artisan cheeses, wines and the songs they inspire, Jackie Gordon Singing Chef leads the audience on a cheese and wine pairing adventure set to music where each cheese is matched to a song. Jackie has chosen an international selection of cheeses and wines and met with a renowned cheese authority who pairs and rates them to determine which combinations they found most successful.
During Say Cheese, the audience tastes the same selection of cheese and wine, noting their favorite combinations, tracking the flavor notes of each pairing on score sheets using a scale of 1 = Outstanding to 5 = Get it out of my mouth!. While the audiences pairs and compares the wines and cheeses, Jackie serenades the audience with a song matched to each cheese and shares the story behind the cheese. At the end of each round, the audience shares their thoughts and ratings. The level of excitement comes to a head when Jackie reveals the cheese authority’s choice of the pairing they thought worked best.
The audience learns the art of tasting and pairing cheeses with wines as well as a brief history of cheese.
